    Professor of Practice in Digital Health, Faculty of Information Technology

    Chris' position is the first of its kind in the faculty. He has more than 30 years' experience in the health industry, including 12 in clinical medicine. He's led numerous software development and implementation projects in the health industry and works with many faculties and Institutes across the University, as well as with a range of health industry partners, in leading the Monash efforts in Digital Health

  • Maithri peiris goonetilleke

    Associate Professor, Global Health

    Assoc Prof Maithri Goonetilleke is an Australian medical doctor and Associate Professor in Global Health. For the last 15 years Maithri has worked as a clinician and public health worker in both Australia and Eswatini, Sub Saharan Africa. In Eswatini he was founder of the non governmental organization Possible Dreams International which addresses structural determinants of health in the most rural and remote parts of the country and is entirely managed by Indigenous Swazi people.

    Co-Founder of Australia’s Epic Group

    Cathie is the Co-Founder of Australia’s Epic Group, including Epic Pharmacy and Epic Good Foundation, and the Co-Founder of Icon Group, which includes Icon Cancer Care, Radiation Oncology Centres (ROC), Slade Health chemotherapy compounding, and pharmacy management services to the Epic and Slade Pharmacies. She’s also a Monash Alumni from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

    Senior Research Fellow, Monash Sustainable Development Institute

    Selina has previously worked for Doctors without Borders leading medical humanitarian project teams in Kabul, Afghanistan, Rakhine State, Myanmar, Bangladesh, China, and Thailand. She was the medical director for Campaign for Access to Essential Medicines based in Geneva, and Clinical Advisor to the Clinton Foundation based at the national Chinese Centre for Disease Control HIV AIDS unit.
