Colin has a particular interest in drug discovery and delivery, and how the use of stem cell and other similar technologies can assist with these. His extensive research spans three fields. As well as the use of pluripotent stem cell technology in disease modelling and drug discovery, he is interested in the oral absorption of drugs and enhancement of bioavailability, and nucleic acid therapeutics. His nucleic acid delivery expertise is being used to design mRNA vaccines against COVID-19.
