Biography
Tim coordinates and teaches in the Diploma of Tertiary Studies (DOTS) undergraduate pathway course, and core first-year teaching and learning units. He has experience in teacher education, having taught in the areas of sociology of education, and school and community partnerships.
His doctoral research involved a critical ethnographic study of disengaged young people participating in an alternative education program for early school-leavers in a small rural town in Western Victoria. Tim currently researches in the areas of pathways to higher education for under-represented groups and non-ATAR students, and rural placements.
