Biography

Tim is a part-time research fellow at Monash University’s Prostate Cancer Research Group, and teaches journalism at Bond University. He’s been active as a patient advocate, speaking at cancer conferences, running patient forums through the Australian Prostate Centre, speaking at Men’s Sheds, libraries and writers festivals, and as a consumer representative on various research grant applications.
He’s passionate about promoting a more integrative approach to cancer care and allied health support to mitigate the side-effects of treatment and maintain quality of life for people living with cancer.
