Biography

Tanya is passionate about advancing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. Her doctoral project focused on early childhood teacher development and practices to encourage girls in STEM, contributing to a larger programmatic study developing a national model for the intentional teaching of STEM in play-based settings. Tanya has a strong interest in STEM education, psychology, equity, diversity, and teacher professional development.
