Biography
Shelley is a Melbourne-based architect whose work includes strategic advice to government and the private sector on architecture and urban design for public places across all scales.
In addition to her award-winning project work, Shelley has held a number of significant positions.
Through her practice, advocacy and advisory work, and in all of her roles, Shelley is driven by an enduring commitment to enriching culture, improving social outcomes and to sustainability through advancing the quality of the built environment.
She’s a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects, and honorary member of the American Institute of Architects, the New Zealand Institute of Architects, and the Royal Architects Institute of Canada.
She was made a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours for her significant service to architecture and design in the public realm, and to professional institutes.
