Biography
Sean is a general and academic cardiologist. He’s interested in all aspects of cardiology, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and cardiac risk assessment. He also has a keen interest in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, in particular the emerging field of cardio-oncology, which focuses on the cardiovascular health of patients with cancer.
Sean graduated from Monash University in 2014 with first-class honours, and completed his cardiology training at MonashHeart, Frankston Hospital and Bendigo Hospital. He’s currently undertaking a PhD through Monash University and MonashHeart, evaluating cardiovascular risk identification and prevention in patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors for cancer.
