Music curriculum development
Renee is an educator with several years' experience in higher education, and as a secondary music classroom, instrumental and ensemble teacher. She teaches across secondary discipline methods, teacher education, and research education units. Her musical interests are in composition, film music, minimalism, the analysis of contemporary Australian music, and the use of digital technology in music. Her PhD research completed at Monash was based on the philosophy of authentic learning and technology in music teaching and learning practices.
