Biography
Rachael is a doctoral candidate with Monash Criminology and a research associate with Monash Law. Her research explores the ways that an affirmative or communicative standard of sexual consent has translated into law and legal practice. She's passionate about reforming rape law to better protect victim-survivors from re-traumatisation within criminal justice mechanisms, and to improve the preventative and educative functions of the law.
