Nazirul’s research interests include applied econometrics, structural models, innovation ecosystems, artificial intelligence, computational social science, with a focus on big data and democracy, as well as empirical studies of the arts, specifically Southeast Asian cinema, music, and heritage. He actively promotes principles of sustainability, equity, diversity, and inclusion in his work.
