Biography

Nathan’s research focuses on how political parties, voters and the media respond to environmental crises in an increasingly globalised world. He’s particularly interested in eco-social forms of environmental politics that seek to address environmental, social and economic injustices in tandem. He’s taught in Australian politics, comparative politics, political economy and environmental politics at both Melbourne and Monash universities.
