Biography
Michael is a mathematical modeller, with a specialty in understanding the spread and control of infectious diseases. His primary research is in the spread of antimicrobial resistance in Victoria, as well as designing surveillance and control strategies for numerous infectious conditions. He has a strong interest in computational mathematics statistics, and using mathematical constructs to explain patterns in disease spread that may not be obvious from summary measures.
