Biography
Meredith, who works on the RISE project in architecture at MADA, has a diverse background, both academically and professionally. After completing an honours science degree at the University of Melbourne, majoring in botany, she joined CSIRO as journal editor for the Australian Journal of Marine and Freshwater Research. She also worked as a landscape architect in private practice, on residential, commercial and civic projects before undertaking a PhD in landscape perception. Her research interests include the perception of watery issues, water-sensitive urban design, landscape aesthetics and landscape-related topics at the intersection of nature and culture.
