Melissa is investigating how fostering a sense of connection with nature may facilitate engagement in behaviours that protect and enhance biodiversity. She is a registered Health Psychologist with a passion for the natural environment and the ways humans interact with it. Her research interests include the health and psychological benefits of contact with nature, the psychology of environmental conservation, and how interaction with the natural environment can influence pro-environmental behaviours.
