Biography
Melinda is a senior lecturer in the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health, in the School of Psychological Sciences. She’s a registered psychologist, specialising in the treatment of sleep disorders, and is an honorary research fellow at the Institute for Breathing and Sleep, Austin Health.
Her research focus is exploring the impact of sleep loss and disorders on components of cognition, mood and brain health. Through this research she aims to demonstrate the positive impact of treating sleep disorders and improving overall sleep health on cognition and wellbeing.
