Biography
Manjeevan has expertise in machine learning and its applications to financial fraud detection and data driven sustainability. His work focuses on developing and applying machine learning methods to real world problems, with impact across finance, regulation, and energy related systems. He has published widely in applied machine learning and has secured competitive research funding. His research is shaped by close engagement with industry and applied partners. Prior to joining Monash University Malaysia, he held industry and policy related roles at Bank Negara Malaysia and Intel, working on data analytics and hardware related systems. He is a Certified Professional Engineer in Malaysia and a Chartered Engineer in the UK, and actively supports academic industry collaboration, professional training, and applied consultancy.
