The future of cities
Liton is an associate professor in urban planning and design within Monash Art, Design and Architecture (MADA). He's a leading researcher in transport and land use planning, with measurable impacts on the field, on policy and practices, and on society. His research focus includes data analysis and visualisation, including transport modelling, statistics, econometrics, GIS, and remote sensing. His interest spans over three key areas of urban/transport planning: effectiveness of strategic urban policies; socioeconomic and travel behavioural impacts of transport infrastructure; and envisioning the future of cities.
