Biography
Kimberley finished her PhD with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes (CLEX) in 2022 at the University of Melbourne. Her research was in understanding the impacts of Atmospheric Rivers and large-scale moisture transport over Australia and New Zealand, and their relationship with climate change. She began her postdoc with CLEX in April 2022 at Monash University working with Professor Julie Arblaster on tropical-extratropical interactions. Her research interests include, extreme rainfall and flooding, synoptic weather systems, tropical-extratropical interactions, and atmospheric rivers.
