Biography

Kaaviyan is a soon-to-be mechanical engineering graduate with a passion for decarbonisation. His honours project focuses on determining optimal sustainable aviation fuel production sites in Australia. During his time at university, Kaaviyan has been involved with Precious Plastic Monash and the Monash Energy Club—student initiatives that align with his interests in climate action and the energy transition. He will be joining Australian consultancy Mandala Partners to continue working on the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors, aiming to realise economic benefits for Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
