Biography
Joanne received her Bachelor of Engineering (with honours) from Monash University in 2008, her Master of Engineering Degree from University Malaya in 2011, and her PhD (Engineering) from Multimedia University in 2016. Her research interest includes Internet of Things (IoT), Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV/Drones), Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET), Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, Optimisation schemes, Robotics design, Renewable and Sustainable Systems. Her research focuses on Internet of Things, communication system, machine learning and transportation. Her research also focuses on how the application of machine learning with Internet of Things in the field of vehicular system and unmanned aerial vehicle (drones) could improve quality of life.
