Biography
Joana is a PhD candidate at the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW), in the School of Social Sciences, and Deputy Director of the Women, Youth, Peace and Security Institute, Ghana.
She’s dedicated to advancing the role of women in the peace and security ecosystem. She specialises in research, facilitation, advocacy, gender mainstreaming, and project management.
