Biography

Jialin is a human-computer interaction (HCI) researcher and designer currently undertaking a PhD in human centred computing at Monash University. Her research delves into the future potential of comestible interfaces, focusing on the development of food-based computational artefacts characterised by their programmability, reconfigurability, and consumability.
Through her research, Jialin also seeks to provoke thought on the future direction of HCI, and to inspire interdisciplinary fields, including but not limited to multisensory interactions, material science, and unconventional computing.
