Biography
Jeremy’s research and teaching focuses geographically on Japan and East Asia and thematically on systems of higher education and employment in historical and transnational perspective. His published work addresses topics including employment pathways for international students, intra-Asia educational partnerships, and the governance and management of private universities. He is currently working on an Australian Research Council Discovery Project on meritocracy and education reform in postwar Japan and West Germany.
