Biography
Before joining academia, Jadranka first worked in judiciary and then in corporate sector and private practice. While her teaching and research has predominantly been in the areas of international law, she has also been involved in business law subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research and supervision interests are in the areas of public and private international law, as well as business law. Her expertise includes international humanitarian law (especially international legal protection of cultural property in armed conflict); international criminal law, art and law, citizenship, rights and gender; international institutions; international human rights law, international environmental law; international dispute resolution (especially adjudication and arbitration); statehood, sovereignty and self-determination; international sale of goods (especially the CISG); international trade law (especially the WTO); Australian legal process and institutions; and business law (especially contract law and business entities). She also has interest in animal rights law.
