Biography

Jacek has extensive industrial and academic research experience in the areas of energy materials and technology.

His research focuses on developing advanced nanoscale materials to fabricate coatings and electronic devices, such as solar cells, photoconductors, light emitting devices and chemical sensors, to make them smaller, better and smarter.

As Director of the Monash Energy Materials and Systems Institute (MEMSI), he is involved in developing the sustainable electricity microgrid on Monash’s Clayton campus which will contribute to the university’s plan to achieve net zero emissions by 2030.
