Biography
Dr Goh Pei Hwa completed her undergraduate and honours studies at Monash University Malaysia. She undertook her PhD at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, and joined the Department of Psychology at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Monash Malaysia in 2017.
Her research interests revolve around interpersonal perception, and how it varies across and within individuals, and culture. She's primarily interested in the roles of affective states and motivation, and how they relate to perceptions. In particular, she's examined these processes within the context of sexual interest perceptions in interpersonal interactions, stress and psychological wellbeing, as well as negotiations.
