Biography

Gillian’s research interests lie in the area of behavioural addictions, with a particular focus on technology and video games. For her doctoral research, she is investigating the psychological factors associated with gacha and loot box mechanics in video games, as well as exploring their impact on players and the potential for addictive behaviour.
