Biography
Gershon Spitz is a research fellow at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health and Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre. He’s the deputy program lead of the brain injury and rehabilitation theme at the Turner Institute, and leads the translation neuroscience stream within the Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre.
His research centres on understanding the biological, psychological, or social/environmental factors or mechanisms that underlie persistent cognitive, emotional, or behavioural disturbances following traumatic brain injury; and using established mechanistic understanding to develop novel interventions for persistent difficulties following traumatic brain injury.
