Biography
Liz has more than 30 years’ experience in psychology. Her teaching expertise is in organisational and social psychology and her research is in organisational and health communication, as well as health service delivery. She focuses on both health professional-patient communication and interprofessional practice, including an interest in the role of stigma in healthcare. She also researches life transitions, such as to and from university study, and the transition to parenthood. She has received funding from Australian Research Council, government departments, Menzies Health Institute and Australian Office for Learning and Teaching, along with industry funding.
