Biography
Elahe joined the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering as a lecturer in late 2017. She received her PhD in robotics from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, in 2017. She’s the director of Robotics in Medicine and Interaction Laboratory (RoMI), and the Robotics Education Liaison Representative at the Australian Robotics and Automation Association (ARAA).
Her research explores shared autonomy in human-robot interaction with application in medical, construction and service robotics; design of human-machine interfaces; haptics; control; and behavioural studies.
