Biography
Claire is a PhD candidate at Monash and the University of Warwick. Her thesis examines the role played by diplomatic and consular agents in the commercial competition waged by Britain and France on the Spanish market between 1783 and 1808.
She graduated from Sciences Po Paris with a Professional Master (Human Resources, 2011) and a Master by Research (History, 2017) with a thesis titled “Maritime health control, administrative practices and circulations in the French Channel seaports, the example of Le Havre (1760s–1780s)”.
