Biography
Christina is a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Early Career Fellow and deputy head of the Pre-hospital, Emergency and Trauma (PET) group of the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine. Her research focuses on the outcomes of traumatic injury, and in particular on physical activity, sedentary behaviour and the risk of developing chronic disease following injury. She has a clinical background in physiotherapy and has worked in teaching and research at universities in Australia, the UK and Canada. She's a registered physiotherapist, an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Physiotherapy, an Honorary Research Fellow at Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, and an Honorary Research Fellow of the Emergency and Trauma Centre, Alfred Health.
