Biography
Chan is a professor of chemical engineering at Monash University Malaysia. He was the Discipline Head of Chemical Engineering from 2011 to 2018. His research interest revolves around the development of novel and sustainable oil and fats processing technologies for food and fuel applications. He is currently heading the Monash-Industry Plant Oils Research Laboratory (MIPO) which serves as a gateway to promote and coordinate multidisciplinary collaboration and academic-industry linkages in research programmes related to sustainable oil and fats processing.
