Biography
Cammi is the Assistant Lecturer (Indigenous) with the Turner Institute For Brain and Mental Health, specialising in Aboriginal wellbeing. She has more than eight years' experience in the international and local community development sector. Her current research focuses on questions of understanding young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' experiences of culture and social and emotional wellbeing, and the use of Indigenous methodologies in research. She's a strong advocate for developing culturally-appropriate approaches to health and wellbeing, and passionate about promoting the voices of Indigenous peoples.
