Biography

Brigitte is a respiratory health specialist, and an expert in a range of specialised lung assessments. She led research on spirometry, which measures gas flow in and out of the lung, and established criteria for its acceptability and repeatability in clinical respiratory laboratories.

She is the Respiratory Coordinator at the Hazelwood Health Study, a lung function study on the health effects associated with the exposure to the 2014 Hazelwood mine fire.
