Biography

Brian has more than 20 years’ experience as an advanced paramedic, academic and manager in healthcare organisations in Australia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), US and Ireland. He's the Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) program director for the Department of Paramedicine at Monash.
He's currently a PhD candidate researching "The optimisation of first responders for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in a Victorian setting" with the Centre of Research Excellence in Pre-hospital Emergency Care Australia and New Zealand (PEC-ANZ), in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash.
