Biography

Bernd’s research areas are collective behaviour in biological systems and natural computation. He has been awarded more than $2.2 million of ARC funding as chief investigator and his work has won three Best Paper Awards and a Best Paper Award Special Mention at leading international conferences since 2005. Bernd is an elected editorial board member of “Swarm Intelligence”.
