Biography
Belinda is a PhD student whose thesis explores the role of transformative education in the context of disaster resilience in dangerous times. Her research focuses on developing a sense of individual and collective agency through relational and ethical approaches to education that are socially oriented for transformative social-environmental change. Her interest in the subject was forged during her time as a policy analyst for the UK Government developing regional, national and international sustainable development policies and programmes.
