Biography

Anthony’s research and supervision interests lie in the economics of health and healthcare, particularly the evaluation of the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of healthcare and prevention programs using experimental or observational data, econometric and decision analytic modelling. He is a past member of the Economics sub-Committee of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee. He has had contracts with both the Australian government to evaluate company submissions to the PBS and with pharmaceutical companies to prepare those submissions.
