Biography

Amelia is a passionate science communicator, and coordinator of the Changing Climates program, which aims to increase public understanding of climate change by disseminating climate science in accessible articles for publication across Australia. She also manages the Climate Classrooms project bringing climate education into schools, and Climate Direct, fostering relationships between climate experts and journalists.
Amelia showcased her communication knowledge at COP27, delivering an interactive virtual workshop on Communicating Climate Science to over 150 participants.
Amelia holds a Bachelor of Science Advanced – Global Challenges (Honours) from Monash University, and a Master of Science Communication Outreach from the Australian National University.
