Biography

Amelia Pearson is a science communicator and Operations Manager at the Monash Climate Change Communication Research Hub. She contributes to social science research on climate change and the energy transition, with a focus on helping communities access the trusted, practical information they need to make informed decisions.

Skilled at translating complex information for diverse audiences, Amelia has worked across mainstream television, digital news, commercial and community radio, in schools and major international climate forums. Her work has taken her from classrooms and newsrooms to the stormy southern ocean aboard CSIRO's research vessel Investigator.
