Biography
For the past 20 years, Thea's research focus has been on family violence. Earlier research in the Family Court prompted a 10-year retrospective study with colleagues on filicide deaths in Victoria, 2000 to 2009, and led to the Monash/Deakin Filicide Research Hub team’s desire to develop inter-country links to drive research and action on filicide internationally, and a national 12-year retrospective study on filicide.
