Biography
Tara is a behavioural scientist and writer with a PhD in evolutionary biology from Monash. Her academic background spans psychology, anthropology, and biology, and she’s worked in research and teaching roles at the University of Oxford, ANU, and Monash.
Her work explores how biological, cultural, and social systems interact to shape human behaviour — across generations, within systems, and through time. She writes at the intersection of science and society, using systems thinking to challenge overly simplistic narratives about choice, trauma, and human nature.
