Sheila is an experienced mathematics educator with nearly three decades of teaching experience in higher education. She has taught a wide range of mathematics subjects and is committed to helping students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills through engaging and practical learning approaches.
She previously served as a Lecturer in Mathematics at Tunku Abdul Rahman College and later as the Coordinator for the Bridging Programme at International Islamic University Malaysia, where she supported students in strengthening their mathematical foundations before progressing into degree studies.
Alongside her teaching roles, Sheila has contributed to scholarship in mathematics education through publications focusing particularly on problem-based learning in mathematics, reflecting her interest in student-centred teaching approaches that enhance critical thinking and real-world application of mathematical concepts.
