Shandi is the Deputy Head of the Climate, Air Quality Research (CARE) Unit and the Group Leader of Children’s Environmental Health Research, leading an interdisciplinary research team on human health in the context of global environmental change. She has background in medicine, public health and biostatistics, and is an epidemiologist with special focuses on atmospheric environmental health and extensive child health issues.
