Biography
Russell has Honours degrees in Economics and Law and a Masters degree in Economics from Monash University and a PhD in Economics from the University of London. Subsequent to receiving his PhD, Russell joined the Department of Economics in the Monash Business School as a Lecturer in mid 1997. He was promoted to Professor in 2004 and was Head of the Department of Economics in the Monash Business School from 2009 to 2015. He has extensive research experience in applied economics and empirical legal studies.
