Biography
Rushmila Binte Rafique is a lecturer specialising in business law and taxation. She holds a PhD in law and a master’s in international business and trade law from Taylor’s University Malaysia, complemented by an LLB from the University of London.
She’s actively contributed to interdisciplinary research with organisations including the Centre for Human Rights Research and Advocacy (CENTHRA), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, and UNICEF Malaysia. As a research associate for Tech Global Institute (TGI), she worked on projects empowering underserved communities in digital rights and technology governance.
Her research areas are commercial law, business law, and public international law.
