Biography

Dr Revathi Nuggehalli Krishna is a mental health researcher with expertise in disaster resilience. She works in the intersection of mental health, disasters and social inequity.
Revathi's current work involves creating surveys to understand the health and wellbeing indicators of communities impacted by disasters, proposing solutions to internal displacement in the context of disasters, as well as co-designing disaster risk messaging for culturally and linguistically-diverse communities. She’s particularly interested in methods using participatory or co-design approaches and giving voice to communities and groups that are often forgotten.
