Renea is an Associate Dean, Centres and Institutes, in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University. She is the Co-Head of the Cancer Program in the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute and co-leads the Prostate Cancer Research Group in the Department of Physiology. Renea performed inter-disciplinary training in stem cell and prostate biology through prestigious post-doctoral and mid-career training fellowships from National Health and Medical Research Council, U.S. Army Department of Defence, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Victorian Cancer Agency. This training led to her developing an independent research career built around a translational research program that is directly applicable to urology and oncology clinical practice.
