Patrick is a legal theorist whose work deals with fundamental questions of human rights, political organisation and political community, and who has applied these ideas campaigning and working with a range of community organisations on the application of anti-terrorism laws.
Patrick also works closely with the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law and the Department of Philosophy to explore what human rights protection involves at a conceptual level.
