Nuri has been working as a government officer at Coordinating Ministry for Political Legal and Security Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia for more than 12 years, with various domestic and international assignments. Her research investigates gender-responsive government’s policies towards women’s involvement in violent extremism. Her areas of interest are defence and strategic study, gender and security, women and terrorism, preventing/ countering violent extremism, public policy and governance, maritime security and cyber security.
